Helpful Homemaking tip...:
Being realistic in contractor pricing may save you trouble down the road. All too often people use the contractor that provides the lowest price for a job, figuring that even if something goes wrong they can always have it fixed down the road with the money they saved. Receiving a quote that sounds too good to be true usually is too good to be true. Shoddy cheaper materials translate into recurring problems far too frequently. If a contractor is over-extending himself there's a greater likelihood of a mathematical error. In the end, a job that is easiest on the wallet may not always be easiest on the emotions.
